I have drawn since I was a very young child. Fortunately, my maternal grandfather worked at a plant that printed business forms. He would bring paper home for my creations.
My education continued at Robert E. Lee Jr. High School in Orlando, and then at Edgewater High School in Orlando. I was exposed to many areas of art and many mediums. Even though I was taught how to use all mediums, I began to concentrate on oils. I experimented with textured paintings long before they were popular. I also enjoyed the many areas of graphic arts and drafting.
My formal education ended at that point and because of family obligations, I put my brushes away. After 35 years, I am painting again and enjoying the creative outlet that it brings.
