Charla Cribb

Charla has been a Historic Kenwood artist for more than 30 years. Charla studied art at the San Francisco Art Institute in the 1960s (yes, she is one of the original Haight street hippies). Her life has lead her along an exhilarating and a diverse road that has included being an educator, journalist, musician, singer, executive, advocate for the disabled, and graphic designer (so far). She also is a founding partner of St. Petersburg’s Karmazkazi Tattoo, where her son Will Wasel is the owner and chief artist. Now retired, Charla continues to explore new avenues of artistic expression, now as a digital artist, creating styles on canvas and as prints as diverse as her background.
